On June, 4, 2006, in. Suhum, Abkhazia, has passed championship of Eurasia on full contact fighting among young men (8-15 years).
Competitions are organized by Abkhazian national branch FCF and the state committee of Abkhazia on affairs of youth and sports at support of the International Federation full contact fighting.
Teams have taken part in championship: Azerbaijan, Ukraine, South Ossetia, Russia and Abkhazia.

The first command place the team of Russia has borrowed, the second – Abkhazia and the third – South Ossetia.
Within the framework of championship 3 professional duels are lead.
In the first duel: Alexander Trach – Russia, against Hamis Mamedov – Azerbaijan, has won Alexander Trach .
In the second duel: Teknedjan – Abkhazia, against Hamisa Mamedov – Azerbaijan, has won Teknedjan.
In the third duel: Eric Karhalava – Abkhazia, against Valery Abregova – Russia, has won Eric Karhalava.
Competitions have passed without traumas, without protests, without infringements of the rules.
In Abkhazia the international competitions of such level for the first time were spent, and for the first time competitions on FCF were carried out{spent} on open air, in stadium. It is necessary to note the big interest of the Abkhazian fans to hand-to-hand fight and a high degree of the organization and carrying out of all stages of competitions. In opinion of vice-president of the international federation S.B.Ermakov « the Management of Abkhazia has set an example the responsible attitude and the state approach to carrying out of similar actions».
On results of competitions, for the big contribution to development FCF the gratitude and honourable diplomas FCF have been handed the president of the Abkhazian national branch, mayor of the city of Suhum – by A.A.Adlejba, to vice-president of national branch – V.I.Chitanava, chairman of the state committee on questions of youth and sports – R.S.Ampar and many other organizers.
On championship in Sukhumi the original record has been put. Two native brother Daur and Igor Kamlija from Gagra’s region on Abkhazia, became champions in different weight categories. We congratulate brothers, their father, Aslan Kamlija and we wish them the further, sports successes.
The management of republic in the near future will consider the problem on regular carrying out of the international and professional competitions on FCF in Abkhazia.
But has not costed and without funny things.
To Azerbaijanians this time has not carried, any sportsman from this team has not reached the final and did not become the prize-winner. Has lost for both duels and Azerbaijan “pro” – Hamis Mamedov then, the representative of a team A.Gumbatov has addressed to the main judge of competitions to the request: « To sell to it{him} medals and diplomas, otherwise, sponsors will not give more money ». Having been refused, Gumbatov, not saying goodbye, it is direct on eyes at spectators and participants, has withdrawn a team from a platform and has left, having taken, for one and a flag of Azerbaijan, cost in 500 roubles, given to him organizers for the period of competitions. Examples such not sports, not worthy and, even, hostile behaviour at the international competitions are very rare. The worse anti-advertising for the country you will not think up. Meanwhile, members of the Azerbaijan team, as well as all other participants of championship, have received as a gift from organizers: firm a vest, baseball cap, calendars, lighters, folders, pens and many other attributes FCF. Besides a team of Azerbaijan met on border, Azerbaijan judge N.Melikov has been admitted on competitions as the trainee, during duels special pauses for translation of words of the judge into the Azerbaijan language were done. In a word, attention this team in Sukhumi have not offended, and we hope, that in Azerbaijan there will be people, capable to explain mister Gumbatovu of a rule of a good form.
